  1. I heard Nvidia tampers with tech demos to make them run slower on competing hardware, and even sabotages their own product if a competitor is present (can't use PhysX next to an AMD card).

  2. My 2009 HP i5 750 is still doing well, but i added 8 GB RAM (12 total now) and upgraded the GT220 to a passive GT1030. Instead of 30 euro for a USB3 card of questionable stability, i might pay 110 euro for 16 GB ram to upgrade to a 2012 Medion with 2 USB3 ports.
