@christophermccutcheon2143 Why do you assume older calendars are more accurate? The Mayan one ran out in 2012 or so which some cults were very excited about. People tend to switch to things that take less effort, like Arab/Indian numerals instead of Roman numerals. Some people have an irrational attachment to old ways, like razing cities that don't agree with their war lord.
