  1. Radioactive things like thorium can be used for power in a LFTR for example, providing enormous amounts of clean energy that is the least deadly per gigawatt. LFTRs are more efficient and safer than current reactors but not as good at providing fuel for, say, neutron bombs, which only kill life and not buildings.
