Jeansen Wen Deep down it turns to spaghetti strings in quantum foam, with spooky stuff that happens over 10000 times faster than light according to Chinese research, but from our pov, by the time photons reach us, many chemical reactions have already taken place before even getting around to being affected by them, hence the rays arrive later than the events. Einstein theorized that gravity slows time, but i think the negative-mass wormhole portal time travel theories hold less weight.
