@SilenceOf TheYams I lived in Atlanta for 15 years and it was not nearly this bad.
The big thing is the humidity never drops, like 98% at night and 93% during the day EVERYDAY with NO break, no breeze, not even with storms. I do not understand why everybody wants to move here, this is a soulless place, the traffic is horrendous because there is no perimeter, no gas service, it all looks exactly the same. It is store A, B, C, then store A, B, C, the pattern repeats for mile after mile. The terrain is completely flat and the roads all perfectly straight. The dirt is sugar sand so you could never garden here. You can wear long pants for only a week or two out of the year. Maybe if you enjoy baking yourself on the beach? There is nowhere to hike, unless you like poisonous snakes and alligators and bugs. The usually don't even have sidewalks. Most people here are from NYC, need I say more?
Yet this still is the number one place to move. I don't get it.
