  14. The united states are certainly NOT more lenient than Russia on drug (including marijuana) related incarceration. Russia appears to be more consistent in it's enforcement and sentencing and it is doubtful this case is motivated by corrupt intentions. There are about 600,000 u.s. prisoners serving very long sentences for non-violent drug offences, including marijuana. In fact, the u.s. imprisons orders of magnitude more of its citizens per Capita (with a disproportionate number of blacks) than any other country and calling it "more fair" is ridiculous on its face. Joe Biden's motivations are political. Grinder is high profile whereas a high school teacher is not. Biden doesn't care about either.
