  3. TYT is a profit making enterprise bankrolled by a capitalist real estate billionaire. They started out pretending to be "progressive" but soon began endorsing anti-homeless legislation and warmongering, while claiming to be leftists. Their positions are not remotely socialistic. On many issues they are in complete agreement with the Washington status quo, including the far right wing. They love the top down authoritarianism that is a feature of late stage fapitalism. Their journalistic bona fides are non-existent and they constantly lie about the facts and contradict themselves. TYT is a joke and debunking them is low hanging fruit. But they are absolutely not in any way leftist.
