@nonsense2369 yes this is a somewhat interesting look into an enormously popular podcaster. But a visionary? Not so much.

Why would a serious thinker engage with a clown like Destiny? I think they tricked Norm, who now knows not to go on click bait shows like this one.
6
@rambo3rd471 literally the opposite of what happened here. You have learned projection very well.
5
Dangerously seductive to those with low self-esteem and shallow thinkers
5
cyotee doge how will you determine what the death count is? To what is Stalin's death count attributable? To socialism? To authoritarianism? What is capitalism's death count?
5
I'd be angry too if I had to waste so much time combatting dishonest or uninformed opinions before actually tackling legit issues
5
The YouTube channel Second Thought has a good video on the myth of innovation in capitalism

@brucerubenstein7843 is that what you saw? Guess that proves the OP's point.
3
@genkimachina well, the funny ones are 😁
3
@codyb.3015 Him and some friends got high af and rambled on for hours cuz they were having fun and didn't care. If that's what passes for "the most creative and visionary people on earth" nowadays then... okay 🤪
3
@shulginone1967 not this time, I hope. The criminal ethno-state needs to end.
3
Really? I detect more than bit of Jordan Peterson
3
Such a well thought-out, insightful and supported analysis. Thanks for your contribution.
3
It may be remembered as the betrayal that ended a nation.
2
Don't know much about wokeness, but I know the loss of privilege often feels like oppression
2
@icantdance5712 I guess you guys missed the part where it was explained that Marx was almost entirely concerned with workplace organization and not state power.
2
@linusnilsson6272 I think stark ad hominem attack on Wolf is a poorly concealed emotional response.
2
@CraigCastanet small businesses are among the worst served by capitalism. So you're right about that.
2
You can add Walmart to your list
2
He's walking a line between allowing ideas to go unchallenged and shutting down the conversation. His pushback was very subtle, to the point that Murray fanboys missed it. I feel like he could've gone harder.
1
@AgoristsRising the least you can do is admit you were wrong before trying to shift the goalposts.
1
Interesting woman with a terrible take on the origins of Russia's actions in February 2022.
1
More and more, it's the worker. Just ask an Uber driver.
1
Not sure why you feel that way. Wolf is obviously not a fan of Soviet Russia. I think Soviet Russia and modern China are more different than they are alike.
1
We can learn a lot by deconstructing a thing. We should be very suspicious of those he try to convince us otherwise.
1
@maniacal_engineer yes. and you don't get either under Douglas Murray's view.
1
He's like a 10 year old. Stupid and dishonest. @PlowThePow
1
@GiraffeFeatures yet he is a wealth of real information and scrupulously honest.
1
@thinkbeforeyoutype7106 they're not trying to.
1
@@Polymorphism-fc2eo not trusting Wikipedia, which is easily manipulated, may seem old-fashioned but is actually smart.
1
Your instincts are good as socialism is by necessity democratic.
1
I got my bs in economics in 1990 and only one professor mentioned Marx for about 20 minutes when he stepped outside his lesson plan. This was at a respected University in NYC.
1
@gustavocambeiro5545 clown comment
1
I hope you're not calling Elon musk brilliant
1
On socialist "experiments" like Venezuela and the Soviet Union: experiments are done in properly controlled environments. All attempts at socialism have been immediately and relentlessly attacked by the western empire, both economically and militarily. This like saying laboratory tests don't work when you have always thrown tear gas into the room.
1
I bet he can spell "sophomoric"
1
I believe you are. Mistaken, that is
1
U.s. "capitalism" has little in common with what Adam Smith was describing.
1
@nomoresunforever3695 lol
1
As well as positive attention from equally unhinged people. Good interview.
1
@destructorzz7197 he mostly argued by anecdote and analogy, followed up by unspoken inference. Not intellectually rigorous, fact-based positions. He strikes me as a calmer version of Jordan Peterson.
1
It's a meaningless statement. You don't have to be dishonorable to recognize a dishonest act. His line is akin to "it takes one to know one" or "I'm rubber and you're glue..." ; In other words, elementary school bullshit for undeveloped brains.
1
You realize he agrees with most of what prof Wolf is saying?
1
@flbellman cool
1
@briananderson8428 😂😂😂
1
I doubt he drives in nyc
1
😁
1
You can absolutely be a sole proprietor under communism.
1
Yet China has rapid transit and helps other countries with such systems. As a result, Indonesia will have high speed rail before the u.s.
1
Small ones do. Big ones get bailouts.
1
@shaft9000 that's an argument for inalienable human rights, not an argument against democracy. A republican system is just representative democracy and doesn't require the three branch system of u.s. checks and balances. And so what? Recent events are further proving that those checks and balances can repeatedly fail.
1
Even if that's true, that capitalism has never existed in the u.s.
1
There's a skeleton in every closet. There I win!
1
Your claim is false. Regulation is the opposite of collaboration.
1
Just to get you started, after the 1917 revolution, France, the UK, the u.s. and Japan launched military attacks on the Soviet Republic. It only got worse after that. This forced a response that was an ongoing drain on their economy, prevented implementation of many foundational socialist goals like women's equality and, in my opinion, led ultimately to a military monster like Stalin. The information is easily accessible.
1
So sorry

Murray seems to stop digging into the analysis of race the moment his position is supported. For example, you cross the street when approaching a group of black teens because black teens are statistically more likely to be violent and you are afraid. Obviously, being afraid is personal, not systemic. But the reason you are afraid, such as how you get your information, and the reasons the statistics are as they are, is systemic. Not looking at the underlying facts is not rigorous and, as a result, unpersuasive. Then whining about racist conversation targeting whites is a real giveaway. This "analysis" sounds an awful lot like the claims of replacement theory types dressed up in academic sounding language. If you find yourself admiring these arguments, you may want to think again and more deeply. His antisemitism discussion is much more interesting.
1
He was talking about child care, not teachers.
1
YouTubers generally don't compete with each other.
1
Weird they don't seem to agree with each other
1
No. You get the money from your rich parents and then say your a self-made innovator genius.
1
@John-Brown learn Mandarin and have a future 😂
1
How is the median in any way meaningful? You know what median means, right?
