  5. Just started listening, and I'm really hoping this isn't people othering and piling on trans people due to ignorance and "the argument from icky." Edit after listening: Well, I was disappointed in so many ways. Why do people feel qualified to talk about such matters because "well I've had sex, and I know what I like, and that's just gross?" I knew that Chris's Achilles' heel is his parochial view of sexuality. But letting this pseudo-intellectual ramble on about subjects she knows almost nothing about, referencing Freud (Freud!), conflating drag queens with trans women, and judging s&m kink because it makes her feel funny (versus the flagellants, cuz they're "spiritual) without even questioning, let alone pushback, is a huge mistake. Going to a few bars and talking to a couple of drag queens (did she actually talk to them?) is not research and the many factual errors implied by her words show that she has barely begun to understand the phenomena she judges. These things confuse this lady's very particular world view and she, understandably, feels threatened by it in her bubble. If she actually spoke to the people she judges, read what doctors and biologists think about "the natural state" of things (assuming she is intellectually honest) she could not maintain this point of view. Please don't promote terrible, unsubstantiated and indefensible arguments.

  22. Dr West's views on Russia, Putin, and the intervention in Ukraine are flat out wrong. This worries me more than any other of his positions with which I disagree. Nevertheless, his views are better on Ukraine than any candidate other than RFK Jr., who's views on Palestine disqualify him for me. That's my cautious way of saying that Dr West is the best candidate in current electoral politics. It's worth supporting him if only to get these ideas into public debate and to grow 3rd party influence.

This was absolutely a jointly planned genocide. Think how much time the world spent arguing about beheaded babies, systematic sexual violence, and command centers under hospitals. This crap keeps working on a population with the memory of a goldfish, despite the fact that the exact same lies are used in every imperial war we start. A rational adult should recognize these stories as most likely lies (and probably projection) and refuse to be distracted by them.
