  12. do you not understand that these events are not equivalent just because you can use similar words to describe them? you realize the phrase "quid pro quo" just means giving something to get something? every exchange is not a crime. it is in the context of this particular quid pro quo (by a president with a foreign government for personal political gain) that it is an impeachable offense. trump supporters can't understand concepts beyond the most basic.

  14.  @face2wake  the discussion is about impeachment, not foreign affairs. and yes, you have to wait for the evidence, more of which is becoming available as we speak. the whistle blower has described an abuse of presidential powers that is an impeachable offence. none of what you described is the same. that is what false equivalency means. You brought up Biden; not me. And i didn't say Trump committed a crime (although i'm confident he has committed many.) It looks like the testimony today is backing up what the whistle blower alleged so i'm going to watch that now. You're on your own now; try to keep up.

  34. it's not a loaded topic. you did see trump put pressure on mexico to stop these people before they could get to the usa border to legally apply for asylum, right? you do realize that all refugees worldwide are undocumented (ie. don't have visas) . they know coming here is risky but they say it's so dangerous at home they don't have a choice. you do realize that the refugees that had their children taken away did exactly what they were supposed to. why is it necessary for the Red Cross to help these "undocumented immigrants" after they were confronted by the federales? we have all seen the statistics, the pictures and film. these people are trying to protect their families and we are showing them no compassion.
