Domestic spending and tourism are lower than expected due to concerns over escalating aggression by the u.s. This is not surprising. Yet standards of living, citizen approval and life expectancy continue to leave the u.s. in the rear-view mirror. Funny how socialism is so successful despite being relentlessly attacked by the capitalist west.
