  1. I imagine the f-16s are a win for the u.s. by turning outdated weapons into profits on paper for the MIC. They can inflate revenues and bolster stock prices. Biden can pretend GDP (already a house of cards) is an even bigger meaningless number. The down side, like every aspect of this war, is on Ukraine by extending the war, killing more Ukrainians, and creating a larger war debt which it can never repay.
