  1. That's not what imperialism is. Imperialism is capture of other nation-states through economic or militaristic pressures and their subsequent exploitation for the unequal benefit of the imperial core.

  6. ​ @tymanung6382  an empire is by definition not democratic because the majority living under it do not have a voice in its government. It is not democracy but authoritarianism that imposes the will of the few on the many.
