Great idea. But how will this impact the economy and society? More educated people, but fewer tradespeople and labourers. Plus, not everyone is motivated to study, or has aptitude for tougher science and engineering. There have been free materials to study for years, but they don't comply with standards and don't offer recognized qualifications. Motivation is the most difficult part of learning. I'm a technical training course designer.
