  1. The show does NOT have a laugh track. As with most modern sitcoms, they record the audience reactions and, due to shooting multiple takes, will often need to shift the audience audio track to synchronize the best of several takes with the best of several reactions (pro tip: the first take often yields the most sincere reaction but the least useful footage). That is NOT the same thing as a "laugh track." If you want an example of a laugh track, watch re-runs of MASH, which should never have had one. If you want to see a sitcom that worked quite well without one, watch Scrubs.
