@crookedwell8527 There were 3 built after the Trinity bomb test. Two were used on military-industrial targets. One was in transit when Japan surrendered. America would have built more as and if needed.

"Only one nuke?" -- Sure, because America was famous for only building ONE of any weapon. Hell, the U.S. was practically launching an entire naval FLEET every month by war's end!
