  2. There is no debate. "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie because Christmas DRIVES THE PLOT. The robbers timed their heist to coincide with the company's Christmas party because the building would be mostly unoccupied, and John McClane was only in Los Angeles because he was visiting his kids for Christmas.

  3.  @MikeMonaghan-q2n  That is NOT what defines a Christmas movie! You're watching a Christmas movie if Christmas is central to the plot or drives the plot in a significant way, therefore "Die Hard" IS a Christmas movie and "Lethal Weapon" is NOT.
