hellsbells7271 It's after hours for the exact same reason that all of their other after-hours events are after hours. To bring in more money during a time of day when they normally don't bring in any money.

@dodieodie498 Are you a crazy far-Leftist, to be making up a bunch of easily disprovable lies? Pleasure Island was NOT within any of the parks. It was in the Downtown Disney shopping district (now called Disney Springs) and gambling has NEVER been offered nor legal on WDW property. Pleasure Island had restaurants, dance clubs, live music venues, and comedy clubs. Children WERE allowed in many venues in Pleasure Island, but the nightclubs were for ages 21 and above only. Pleasure Island was permanently closed 15 years ago, and all of its venues were changed into restaurant and retail locations. Pro tip: that Outrage Communicating Device you're using can also be used to look things up so you don't sound like an idiot. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to be angry with Disney -- you don't need to make up a bunch of pure nonsense!
