@ericgutierrez2936 Were you in Texas when 1/3 of those who fought for Texas independence were settlers from Mexico who didn't want to be subject to Mexican rule? Not only did they help defeat Santa Anna in 1836, but they also defeated your silly little narrative in 2022.

@Roofers-Nail-Hardest That "legal secession" thing and the "automatically turn into 5 states" thing are pure bull-crap. Neither is true today. In 1868, the Supreme Court determined that unilateral secession is NOT legal, and that decision has never been reversed. The 1845 annexation of the Republic of Texas into the United States provided for spawning 4 new states, but that document was superseded when Texas rejoined the Union in 1870. You need to keep up with the changes, my friend! You got two things right: 1) That gal was pretty hot and 2) Do NOT mess with Texas.😁
