+Whiskii - You just took credit for cement. I believe that cement/concrete was invented by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago. You also took credit for sewage systems, the earliest known of which were excavated in the Indus valley, dated at more than 5,000 years of age. I suppose you merely forgot to brag about the superior British educational system, wherein you apparently managed to skip the entire curriculum. Would you now care to take credit for stone tools, fire, clothing, and the wheel?

You forgot about the deplorable American adaptations of the BBC's "Coupling" (titled "Coupling") and "Absolutely Fabulous" (titled "High Society"), but so has everyone else. ANY sitcom starring little kids, tweens, or teens is inherently AWFUL. Kids are generally crappy actors with ZERO sense of comedic timing.

My goodness, WatchMojo! Grow a pair: An understanding of satire AND a sense of humor. You've included a few comedies that were satirizing racial stereotypes and clearly making fun of racism. That itself isn't racism!

@bremaster93 I am truly impressed by the endurance of your hate boner for TBBT. You should seek qualified medical attention for that. You've trashed the show in EVERY thread in this comment section. Your life must be so full of joy.

Are you suggesting that the sonic weapons are based on the Voice and the weirding modules are just space-megaphones? Interesting...

The Fremen probably started manufacturing them from those plans. The books made it quite clear that they had respectable technology and a modern manufacturing base (they manufactured stillsuits, water condensers, etc). The film should have made that more clear.

You really need to actually WATCH these movies before writing your scripts. In TDA, a major plot point is that Kansas City got nuked, NOT Lawrence. Lawrence is where many of the surviving characters ended up because the University and its hospital were there. Another honorable mention is due to the made-for-TV movie "Special Bulletin," not because it was a great film or possessed ground-breaking effects but because it had a more realistic plot device (terrorists threatening to detonate a nuke on a boat in Charleston Harbor) than most of these other films. Spoiler alert: The terrorists were taken out but the bomb went off anyway because the NEST team trying to disarm it fumbled. An unexpected twist.

Bad acting is BAAAAAD!

@morimo11 The Fremen had good technology and fair manufacturing capability. They manufactured stillsuits, water condensers, and all their worm-riding gear.
