@wvance0316 Are you daring to question my "lived experience?" lol. Seriously, dude, there aren't a lot of teleworkers employed in the Tesla Gigafactory, the chip fab plants, the Amazon fulfillment center, and the countless tech assembly lines in my city. They're coming here physically because their employers moved the plants here to escape Cali's anti-business nonsense. It's been happening since the 80s but it's gotten much worse in the past few years. You can't buy a house unless you make a cash offer and are the last man standing at the end of a bidding war. Their antics have driven property taxes through the roof and their silly permissive policies have flooded our parks and roadsides with an epic influx of homeless people. These plants do not just employ blue collar workers. They also employ managers, accountants, designers, and (worst of all) lawyers.
