Just wondering: How many calories do those meds contain? That's rhetorical. The answer is zero. As I understand it, when doctors prescribe these types of meds, they also advise you to maintain a healthy diet and exercise to counteract the side effects. If someone fails to do so it isn't the fault of the pharmaceuticals. I'm on half a dozen different meds and my weight has remained unchanged for over 4 years because I modified my diet and walk at least 4 miles daily. You can't take only the doctor's orders that you like. You have to follow ALL of them. Quit spewing apologetics for those unwilling to do the work!

@birdielein9636 Nope. I just have decades of life experience. I had a close friend who was put on steroids who complained incessantly about her weight gain. I witnessed her scarfing down fried crap and suggested she opt for the grilled salmon. She ordered more french fries instead. I'd invite her along for my morning walk and she'd decline. She gained 50 pounds in 6 months.She ended up in the ER with severe gall bladder issues due to her fat-heavy diet and still wouldn't modify her behavior. I stopped hanging out with her because I got tired of the endless stream of excuses and lack of effort to help herself. Sure, even though I offered no insults, I'm the snarky, biased dick. You should work in a cinema because you really have mastered the art of projection.
