Here is the problem with Hollywood in general and Disney specifically: Because so many creative types are gay (or so many gay people are creative types -- whichever the case is, it's all well and good and nobody really cares), they're under the terribly mistaken impression that 12 to 20% of the entire human race is gay. They are utterly wrong. It is 3 to 5%. They are making content to pander to the 4% who do NOT consume their product instead of the 96% who DO. The money men should have realized this and put their metaphorical boots firmly up some metaphorical asses LONG before now. This train wreck of a show, hopefully, will cost them so dearly that it triggers The Boot of Destiny before Disney's corporate ship sinks so deep as to become unsalvageable.
