  1. What Lefties and other toddlers don't get is that it took CENTURIES to get to this point. Sure, we can change EVERYTHING in merely 12 years (sarcasm). We have been working on solutions since the early 1980s. It's been pointed out that America rebuilds itself every 50 to 100 years. These things take time and cost money. Toddlers want what they want now Now NOW. Adults have to say "no No NO." Quit whining and actually DO something constructive and maybe the grown-ups will take you seriously. Retrofit your home to be more energy-efficient. Install solar panels. Capture rainwater. Grow something edible in your yard or on your balcony or roof. Trade in your car for something that gets better mileage. Link errands. Take the train. Actually USE the recycle bin. Stop driving everywhere in your enormous SUVs to protest pipelines and stop leaving a damn mess behind when you do.
