  1. "If you get a salary then it's not a nonprofit by definition." -- That is NOT true! What defines a non-profit is that any surplus of revenues over expenses cannot be distributed to investors or employees. There is NO rule forbidding paid employees.

  2. It is NOT tax-free. The Internal Revenue Code states that all world-wide income of U.S. citizens and residents is taxable by the U.S. and the taxpayer is responsible for reporting it. These freeloaders are tax CHEATS, of course, costing the rest of us even more money than first meets the eye.
