  1.  @crissd8283  Yellowstone isn't close to major population centers, so it's not a great place for power production. Basically, ANYWHERE west of I-25 is fair game for geothermal. Anywhere east of it, not so much. Also, dry holes (tapped out oil wells) can be adapted to geothermal power production. One problem is that the brine used is very rough on the hardware, which makes geothermal extremely maintenance-intensive.

  2. America's nuclear energy stands among the safest in the world. Even our older reactors have excellent safety records. More nukes, fewer kooks!

  3. The current Administration has done far more harm to renewables than any other. The nation has been steadily ramping up renewable power production for decades with only modest government interference. We could fund many of these projects with small bumps in the gas tax but they've rendered that a nonstarter with their war on energy companies and the spike in pump prices -- and now they're blabbering about suspending fuel taxes. A little consistency would be appreciated! How can they be SO bad at governing? It seems intentional.
