Not half as annoying as Musk constantly picking the pockets of American taxpayers in order to enrich himself by selling technologies that were either invented by actual innovators in the 19th century or were already paid for by American taxpayers in the mid 20th century.

@nielsssg Allow me to elaborate. SpaceX created NOTHING new. Their work is based on NASA research and data that was paid for by American taxpayers over the span of half a century. Their launches are primarily fueled by government contracts, again paid for by American taxpayers. Tesla created NOTHING new. Electric cars have been around for nearly two centuries. Unreliable automation has been around since WW2, if not earlier. The first 600,000 Teslas sold in the United States were/are eligible for a $7,000 to $7,500 federal tax credit plus additional credits in some states. That puts more than $4.2 billion in Musk's corporate pocket at the expense of American taxpayers. As a practical exercise, Americans who did NOT buy Teslas subsidized those who DID buy Teslas who, in turn, handed that money (plus a LOT more) over to Tesla. As an American taxpayer, I have paid a private citizen for rockets that I don't get to fly and cars that I don't get to drive. Conclusion: Musk picked my pocket. Prove me wrong.
