People get into a disproportionate number of wrecks at that notorious intersection because they're driving too fast because they're on an insanely wide multi-lane divided stroad so, instead of adding traffic calming measures, you want to create an expressway interchange in the middle of a leafy green neighborhood so they can drive even FASTER!
