  1. The absolute state of corruption in Miami made this situation inevitable. Every long-term Miami resident has known this for decades but these so-called "reporters" seem to be turning a blind eye to the obvious. Dave Barry even wrote a hilarious book ("Big Trouble") about the insanity of the city and its politics in 1999. I enjoy the heck out of visiting the place but you couldn't pay me to live there!
