  1. This technology is unnecessary. We already have proven MagLev designs that don't require passengers to lie down in a windowless coffin and get shot through a dark sewer pipe. Even if they solve the myriad engineering challenges, they will NEVER overcome the psychological barriers. People want to sit comfortably, enjoy the view, and occasionally get up and walk around.
