@Drunken_Master Only after the 1974 changes to the constitution did they have those additional local governments, but they weren't republics. And that constitution destabilized Yugoslavia in the long run.

@lucasrem US wanted to break up Yugoslavia and Serbs were in the way. Also Germany and UK were in agreement with the US and they started advising and preparing separatists in Slovenia and Croatia. They were also financing and smuggling arms to the separatists before and during the wars despite the UN weapons embargo. The UN also allowed or was involved in smuggling weapons, explosives and foreign Mujahideen terrorists for the Bosnian Muslims.

Actually the Tito government made changed in the constitution in 1974 which helped set Yugoslavia on a path to break up.

Key NATO countries wanted to break it up into ethnically pure or divided mini-states. They were working with and advising separatists who had a violent past before the wars started. It started after Germany re-united because Germany never liked Yugoslavia. But also the US and UK had been wanting to break it up since the 70s at least.

No, the people do not want that at all as it will ruin excellent agricultural land and the water, while it will be foreign companies which get the profits. The people have protested it strongly. The vast majority are against it.

@_monti142 It was the sanctions which destroyed most of the industry, but then the US installed puppet governments which sold-out industries which survived the sanctions and bombing.

Serbia had industries before Yugoslavia but many of the best industries were moved brick-by-brick to Slovenia and Croatia by the communists. Many graduates of Belgrade University have patents on western technology. Many were invited west and were pioneers of technology there such as for IBM supercomputers - Vojin G. Oklobdzija. Petar V. Kokotovic was involved in the first computer chips for cars.

Kosovo is a Serbian name and it was Serbs who established it and the very first historical mention of Kosovo is with Serbs. Kosovo was almost 100% Serbian before the Ottomans came. Shqiptars are thieves.

It was named and founded by the Celts as Naissus "itself probably a derivative of the older *Nāviskos, from *Nāvia ("trough valley"), the Celtic name of the Nišava River, which flows through the city. In historical sources, the town is mentioned as Naissus, Ναϊσσός, Naessus, urbs Naisitana, Нишь, Ньшь, Nisso and Nix."

It was Celtic and was originally Naissus. There is no actual documentation of Albanians living there before the Ottomans came to the region.

@betims The Serbs were called Illyrians in official Austrian documents in the 18th century, and the Dalmatian Croats and Serbs started and Illyrian movement long before Austria decided to use that idea for the Shqiptars for political reasons. The Austrians worked against the Croat and Serb Illyrian movement and instead started propaganda for the "Albanians". Albanian is not even the real name for the people but what they were called after they were brought to the Balkans in the 11th century by the Byzantines as mercenaries. Albanians were from the Caucasus and were brought west by the Arabs and Byzantines.

@betims Albanian language is similar to Caucasus languages in grammar and syntax. Albanian language has sounds that are very uncommon in European languages but are common it the Caucasian languages. Albanian/Shqiptar has many words similar to Chechen words.

The video is doing the "obligatory Serb bash" as it is part of the US/NATO propaganda against Serbs which is still ongoing. US/NATO troops are still keeping Serbs ethnically cleansed from Kosovo and other parts of the former Yugoslavia (prevent them from returning to their homes). US Pentagon contractors MPRI helped Croats ethnically cleanse 250,000 Serbs in August 1995. This video is probably financed by US government or NGOs to keep up the anti-Serb propaganda.

Actually Bulgaria and Greece stole parts of Macedonia and it's only the part of Macedonia freed from the Ottomans by the Serbs which is what is Macedonia today.

@kingofthend Germany and Austria were working with Slovenia to break from Yugoslavia for over a decade before the breakup. Jansa Janez was a known NATO spy and was on trial in Yugoslavia long before the wars.

Serbia did have industries before Tito but the communists moved them brick-by-brick to Slovenia, Croatia and BiH. Their excuse for that was "in case of attack by the East" meaning the USSR.

@jerkojuric6137 The Ottomans would destroy a Serbian monastery if they found it had a printing press. A Serb made a robotic hand with a sense of touch, the so-called "Belgrade hand" and many Serbs were recruited for NASA and other engineering organizations in the west. There were Serbs working for Austria before WWI. Germans destroyed some of the work of Milutin Milankovic when they bombed the printing press where his new book was being printed. Germans also bombed Serbian libraries in WWI and WWII. So foreigners were always keen to keep Serbs from advancing. This is not to mention the looting, burning and destruction of Serbian monasteries by Turks, Austrians, Hungarians, Croats, Germans, etc.

Tito and communism were brought into power because of the US and Britain which gave him his weapons and helped with logistics. They also served as his air force and were bombing Serb towns and cities which were anti-communist. The British also pushed the Italian Venezia Division which surrendered to the Serb and Montenegrin loyalists to instead fight on the Partisan/Communist side. So Tito got an extra several thousands soldiers for his attack on Serbia, and his attack actually re-opened the road for the Germans that the Serbian forces had closed.

Illyrians were South Slavs' ancestors. South Slavs are I Haplogroup which is the only Haplogroup to originate in Europe and it originated along the Danube where Serbia is today.

When Serbs successfully fought against NATO proxies, NATO bombed to help their proxies ethnically cleanse all the Serbs. The census proves it was the Serbs who were ethnically cleansed while the media hyped "victims" gained percentage of population during the wars and/or got their ethnically pure statelets.
