@Mezzy.. If you go to the original video it says that the shelter got a call from people about a dog sleeping in a drain pipe which would only come out when people passed by. The dog was looking to people for food & help. In the original video he drives then trudges in the snow to find the pipe, then he whistles and it takes 10 seconds for the dog to come to the entrance of the pipe, and then it runs out towards him. Its tail is rather low wagging with narrow sweeps which suggests some nervousness or mixed-feelings. Meanwhile the puppies actually growl when the man first looks inside the pipe.

@Plays_Aj The dog may have gotten sick in the first place from improper care and bad nutrition. Those people are too incompetent to properly care for a dog.

Their golden retriever seemed very happy to have a new "brother" too.

@mozartfx1 It says at the beginning of the video THAT HE GOT A CALL about a dog that was living in a pipe and would only come out when people passed by. He runs a dog shelter and rescues dogs for years - he has hundreds of them and there is a BIG PROBLEM with stray dogs in his country & in surrounding countries. Travelers, travel-bloggers & bikers who go through the country have noted these dogs and bikers have been chased by packs of stray dogs & have had to fend them off.

@evelinboerner2160 He's prepared because he had received a call to his dog shelter about a dog living in a pipe which would only come out when people passed by. So he was told BY THE CALLER where it was and he went prepared to get that dog. That is what he does: rescues and runs a shelter and tries to find (new) owners for them too. So EVERY TIME he gets a call about a dog/puppies he will bring a cage, etc. so he can bring them back to his shelter. He shelters hundreds of dogs.

@mozartfx1 Wrong. If you go to the original video it says that the shelter got a call from people about a dog sleeping in a drain pipe by the regional road. And they said the dog would only come out when people passed by. The dog knew that (some) people would feed it - knew it needed help. There are many people who will feed a stray but won't take the extra more involved step of bringing it home.

@TheLuthier1959 Dogs are energetic and barking a lot at his shelter. Dogs in poor condition would be lying around and quiet.

I try to explain this to people who keep thinking this is fake/staged. They find it hard to believe that there are so many stray dogs, but visitors, tourists, bloggers, bikers, etc. have noted/photographed and have videos of stray dogs in the region and there's many stories of bikers who were chased by packs of stray dogs and have had to fend them off.

@CloudOmegaVII No they are not. Serbs are South Slavs. Most South Slavs, including Serbs, are genetically different than the other Slavs, which Russians are. Serbs are closer genetically to people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia & Montenegro.

I'm guessing its spinal cord was pinched by its vertebrae during a move. So the spinal cord was pinched but not severed. After it was pinched there was probably inflammation too.

The black dog has one sky blue eye and one gray eye 2:45
5
@brookejohansen1681 Probably the spinal cord gets pinched by the vertebrae when that happens.

1:40 Deer got to ride in the sled/sleigh instead of having to pull it.

They don't say cats have nine lives for nothing.

@TheLuthier1959 People who dump their dogs will often purposely put it in place where others will see them. They do this because they no longer want to or can care for their pets but want other people to take up the responsibility of caring for their dogs. There are some people who are worse and will drown or kill unwanted puppies but those who leave them in the countryside or near a shelter or public area are likely assuaging their conscience that they are at least giving the dogs a chance of survival.
2
@marrqi7wini54 She was probably fed by strangers for a while because in the original video it says the shelter received a call about a dog sleeping in a drain pipe by a regional road which would only come out when people passed by. So the dog's behavior was to look for help from people, who were likely feeding her. The dog would apparently come out for anyone. Plus in the original video the dog doesn't come right out: he whistles and waits for a bit before she come out.
2
It's just outside of the dog shelter that this man runs. That is why the person dumped the puppies there, but instead of going to the dog shelter and turning the puppies into it in person, he just left it on the side of the road near the dog shelter.
2
It is often the pushy and demanding people who get what they want, so if you need help, then go ahead and ask.
2
It turned out to be quite cute anyways when it got its health and its fur grown out.
2
Brainjock So he spends all that time in the cold and snow - an hour/s - to get the puppies out? In the original video from the rescue center it is longer and it gets dark by the time they get all the puppies.
1
Why watch videos of dogs if you don't like them? You look like an evilshit.

0:45 is that a roll test for dogs, supposed to bring out any aggression?

In the original video it says the shelter got a call about a dog living in a drain pipe which would only come out when people passed by. He specifically made the drive to find and rescue the dog because that is what he does. He has a shelter with several dozens of dogs. Also the original video shows it takes the mother longer to come out of the pipe. He whistles and it takes several seconds for her to appear at the entrance. She pauses a couple seconds more and then bounds out. What is shows here is very edited and even the original video is edited. Seeing it in real time would mean hours out in the snow and cold. People would be bored watching that.
1
The mother dog was very needful of help & food. People called the shelter saying there was a dog sleeping in a drain pipe which would only come out when people passed by. Some of those people were likely giving her food. She is also a very friendly people-person dog. She is very affectionate & seems to focus on the man more than her puppies. If you had a whole bunch of dogs at once they probably weren't as close to people. They'd be more oriented towards the other dogs since they couldn't be given that much individual attention by you & your family.
1
No. It's because the dog was like that and was desperate. In the original video it says people called the shelter about a dog sleeping in a drain pipe which would only come out when people passed by. So it was already observed looking to people for help. In the original video he has to whistle, then after several seconds the dog comes to the entrance and pauses a few more seconds before it runs out. Plus it took him a long time (probably hours, as it gets dark) to get the puppies out - and that's a lot of time in the cold & snow. Not easy & convenient work.
1
Some of the puppies look like Snoopy, Charlie Brown's dog.
1
I think they did a better job than the wildlife rescue people would have. Plus the wildlife rescue probably wouldn't have reunited Foxee with his family.

@DietrichStockman Ukraine is actually a proxy NATO war. NATO has been setting up the infrastructure there and U.S. backed the coup which overthrew Ukraine's president in 2014 and after that Ukraine started attacking the Donbass.
1
Must be because several of the grown puppies look very Pitbull-ish 4:07 The father is a Pitbull, I'd say.
1
This is just outside of the dog shelter that the man runs which is why there are dogs barking in the background. The person who dumped the puppies obviously chose the spot because it was near the dog shelter, but didn't actually go into the shelter to turn in the puppies, and didn't consider that the puppies would run out into the street.
1
@alandunlap4106 It's understandable. There are some channels which actually hurt puppies and then pretend to "save" them. These are awful as the animals are often severely injured/mutilated.
1
I think it's a Domestic Swan Goose.
1
I think she's removing the sand (eye crust) "sleep" that gets in the corner of eyes and sometimes it takes several rub-aways to get it all.
1
If you kept him he could have protected Kokoro from the other big dogs which apparently have bullied him 2:57 Paw on the head 4:11

@brittanychestnut1698 Take cooking lessons.
1
Strangers were likely feeding her. In the original video it says the shelter got a call about a dog sleeping in a drain pipe which would only come out when people passed by. So the dog was already observed going to people for help. More people will feed a stray than will bring the stray into their home or take it to a dog shelter themselves.

He needs his teeth brushed 2:41 as they are kinda yellow. I think that sweet tea is the culprit.
1
Had someone shoot him with a bb gun - was that what that injury/hole was on the top of his head?
