@fvardona yep birth rates are down everywhere except some places in the Middle East and Africa. Even poor countries are bringing migrants from even poorer regions for cheap labor

@Conservative_carnivore people don't tend to openly admit their regrets with having kids because of the shame it brings, but you can sense it whenever they tell ppl without kids how "lucky" they are

@WastedTalent83 it's largely because ppl are not honest with who they are early in relationships so after marriage incompatibility sets in, also modern dating which means sex clouds peoples judgements (sex releases bonding hormones); in the past, people courted and there was no sex involved until marriage and ueah, hypergamy in men and women is much more of a problem now a days

@guyberryman574 you will still be alone when you're old, even if you have kids (if you're single) since kids grow up and have their own lives. Also, not everyone has a good relationship with their kids, often personality and values differences occur; I for one do not get along with my parents
