@shonenjuri South Africa went from being the 7th largest economy to the 34th in less then 30 years, all that diversity did not help your country one bit

@captainvanisher988 yes this, I have family in Germany and it's just as bad there as in the America and Canada, immigration does not lower the cost of living which is the primary reason why people are not having large families anymore, in fact studies show that immigrants also stop having kids after 1-2 generations because they too don't want to bring children into poverty

@secretsquirrel9722 Japanese are totally in the right to be weary of foreigners, especially men from "former" enemy countries. Dual loyalty, ethnic tribalism and subversion is a big problem with Western diversity. Once you give foreigners voting rights and civil rights they will push you right out of your own country

being an educated Japanese boomer he probably has not lived in areas/times in the US and Germany that were hit hardest by "diversity", likely he lived in nicer/whiter areas. Most of the West has demographically changed significantly just over the last 2 decades, there are places in Germany that were Germany in the 90's that are majority foreign today

@biggiedii4889 immigration here (Canada) like most places is a pyramid scam where immigrants go into low wage work where they can't even afford to rent a place to live so often live many to one apartment/house, most put up with it thinking they can "rise up" but that rarely happens and many return home later in life to live like kings off of the Canadian pension (yes you can get pension even if not in the country anymore so long you worked here once) which leads to a revolving door with more immigrants to repeat the process of course non of this is helping anyone but the rich, both natives and immigrants suffer under high cost of living and shitty wages as well as numerous social conflicts, there is also a mass housing crisis since there isn't enough affordable housing for the amount being brought in which has led to waiting lists and bidding wars for even the crappiest of rentals

as the population of foreigners increase there is less of s social demand to conform and people form their own ethnic enclaves where there is little to no pressure to blend into their host country, this happens everywhere there is diversity. I live in Canada and we even have ethnic conflicts between people that they brought from their homelands like Sikh vs Muslims fighting in the streets
4
@willkrueger3857 that's likely because they only have around a 2% immigration average and most of those immigrants are other East Asians so they have little understanding of what actual diversity does to a country
3
@aaronton2703 I'd be curious when and where in the US and Germany he lived because they are not the same places they were in the 90's and earlier on,

@Benisbucker "highly skilled immigrants" is the same immigration policy we have in Canada and its awful. Japan does better with it's rotating system of allowing temporary visas so they don't have multigenerational outsiders living in Japan and subverting their system

every country that is under international finance currency (led by the US dollar) is suffering, it's one of the reasons several countries have or are planning to break off from the US dollar and switch to independent or Yen alliance. American dollar is devalued from all the printing and debt and is dragging everyone else down with them (aka other countries are forced into inflation to pay off said debts)

@gamble777888 most men do not want to marry and be loyal in their youth either because like @hazielx6874 stated people in "developed" countries are not taught the importance in having a family, it was always portrayed as an option not a priority like education and work. The system also does not accommodate a good atmosphere for raising a family in, like how they ruined the multi-generational household by creating the nuclear family, this makes it much more stressful to raise children

@noripee8278 >Canada has accepted immigrants for a long time and still is a safe country. depends on what area you're talking about (I live in Canada) we don't have a lot of black people but the areas where black people live are unsafe (I grew up in Rexdale as it was importing black people and it was getting violent then, now it's a notorious crime zone) There has also been a a lot of crime in Punjabi and Pakistani areas like Scarborough and parts of Brampton and yeah I'd imagine Japanese companies abuse foreign workers from poorer countries, it's not all that different in the West where people are brought in to be paid bellow living wages for even dangerous labor Mass immigration especially from poor countries has always been a scam to import legal slaves
1
when you look at who is having kids in the US it's mainly the very poor and rich with the middle class dying out, the future is going to be very dysfunctional with a small population of privileged people and a larger one of low IQ impulsive peoples, basically nothing will get done
1
believe it or not most boomers are for immigration because they don't suffer the consequences of it, most only care about their pensions and social security
1
@tl1533 you know non-immigrants will do all these jobs too if given a living wage, you just want scab labor
1
@aaronton2703 there are BLM attacks happening all over France right now, they are burning down old churches and attacking random bystanders, do you think that was the Europe the Japanese boomer remembers when he worked abroad?
1
the West is not being helped by immigration though, quite the opposite, it causes the same finnanical burdens (high cost of living) plus additional social problems, the only people benefiting are the rich
1
@l.3626 most women want kids they just don't want kids to be raised in poverty, even a dual income household is often not enough to stay afloat anymore. Here in Canada, you can't even buy an above ground trailer (something rednecks used to live in who were on welfare) in the middle of nowhere for less then $300,5000. Average price of a house anywhere near a city is 1.3 million and up, rent starts at $2000 and the wages are not increasing to meet the inflation
1
@Almeeni you are clearly not a German if you think the people want their country turned into an extension of Turkey, the people there never wanted Turkish immigrants but the American occupation forced it on them. There will be a civil war in the coming century because of this
1
@HobanProduction white people are factually being replaced in Western countries via mass immigration and both the media and government celebrates this, why do you want to destroy Japan too?
1
>"the cost of living is rising but the wages are not" this is the primary reason for low births in Western countries too, all the other factors are minor in comparison
