The cost of a used trailer house and lot in the middle of no where in Canada costs over a quarter of a million dollars, you can't find a condo for under $700,000 and homes are all over a million, that is not including the cost of food, gas and our taxes, so yes this country is unlivable for the majority of people who are not already home owners

@cazd4590 the chepeat housing I found outside of the city IS the trailer house in the middle of no where Ontario that is a quarter million. A home outside of the cities will still cost at least $700,000+ (I have been following the real estate online)

@redmetalpanda9051 Quebec is more affordable then most of the country but it's still too high, the chepeast attached homes start around $300,000 and a detached home is $500,000+ And you have to speak fluent French to live in these areas

@shawnp25 350k for living in the middle of nowhere is NOT a good deal or practical for most people who can't find jobs in the area
