  2.  @kizi429  "They make very historically accurate recreations of history, and they're quite interesting as well." Last time I watched a History Channel miniseries they made Hannibal Barca black despite him being a Phoenician (Greek) I stopped watching them after that

  3. awards are driven by money and favoritism not merit, actors actually have to go on campaigns for awards (pay for ads, smooze with people on award boards, do shifty stuff like be "friendly" with producers wink wink) I'll never look at any best actress winners the same after knowing about Harvey Weinstein

  5.  @CrimsonAngelWinges  Tudor series is based off of Philippa Gregory novels, if there are any good novels on the Ottoman Empire maybe they can adapt them but as it stands modern Hollywood writers are awful

  7.  @onefootsteve5919  Hollywood has always been this way, even going back to the silent era the "casting couch" was a thing; women would send nudes to movie producers to make them stars And it doesn't stop at consensual adults, Hollywood grooms kids too
