@Hiforest you feel better having the excess fat off the body too, it makes doing things easier. For me, just the feeling of not having my thighs rub together when walking is relieving

same here, I still eat some sugar but I can't eat gluten and ended up losing a ton of excess weight and now I have a flat stomach. It's amazing how much the obesity issue is linked to dough based products

@b1646717 if you can go a month on a new diet your taste buds and cravings adapt to it. I had a sugar addiction and heavily reduced sugar for a month and it ended up making me dislike sickeningly sweet things even to this day
