Impulse buying of animals is disgusting, especially when people buy affordable animals for kids who are too young to take care of them properly and they get discarded like broken toys My parents got me a hamster and rabbits when I was too young to take care of them and my dad ended up leaving the rabbits in some wooded area because they took up too much time and money to care for, I'm sure this is the case for most of these poor animals
