  1. 4L80 is a Boss Hog. Actually, TH400 w/od and ecu control . Even Hydramatic Div would be impressed with 400k, if never rebuilt(unlikely) Hot Rod Garage called it the 'best shifting Trans' they'd ever used . Caution: unbelievably heavy @ near 200lbs as installed. (Then add 3 gallons trans fluid). Have hundreds of runs on one in full option 72 Nova behind SBC, since 2014. They Take a Lickin & Keep on Trippin!

  4. Having Ray (Master Tech) do tire work, LOFs seems a waste of skills. Kinda like having your Dentist do window washing. Most places I worked had entry techs for basics and porters to move vehicles, keep shop spiffy, keeping experienced techs on hi value tasks. Changing World?

  7. Most of so called 'Rip Offs' aren't intentional ! Poorly Trained Techs with Poorly developed Diagnostic skills is the Primary reason. 2nd is those ignorant of their incompetence.
