Lauren Bobert is always humiliating herself... What's new? E: I live in Colorado and visited Rifle last summer (yes, the city where her restaurant got evicted from is named Rifle). Just for giggles I wanted to walk by her campaign office which is right next to her restaurant... In the glass door of the restaurant had a sign that said "The Second Amendment is there to protect the First", the heartbreaking irony of such a saying is that this was just after she came out saying that the separation of church and state needed to be ended. These people idolize guns, say they want to protect the Constitution, but in reality want to enact fascist violence. The irony palpably hurts, as people (some literally kids!!!) die and guns are idolized by these sickos. They don't even care about the First Amendment that they say they love so much and they sure as hell don't care about fellow Americans dying. No exaggeration; It makes my stomach churn.

Which is why bolding "HUMILIATES" is unnecessary clickbait.... You just have to put her name in a sentence and you know it's going to be perverse.

@p.j.m.d.1948 I mean it's totally possible... But I'm also comfortable being agnostic on issues. I don't feel the need to disparage people based on hearsay when I have plain facts that are damning enough. As a leftist, I think it's important to be critical of leftist rhetoric that can sometimes get out of hand... Self critique is a good check on oneself and one's group. As I get older, I find myself far more leftist, but I criticize the left more... Skepticism is healthy.

@@seanembry6438 As much as I agree with the intent of your rhetoric, that being to disparage Bobert, acting like the whole third district is to blame is very sus when she won by 500 votes. I visited a few places in the 3rd district, some of them are more liberal than you'd think. Rifle has many yoga studios and new age shops- traveling can be an enlightening experience. Also, sex work isn't something that should be socially shamed, especially under capitalism where we all rent out our bodies for a wage.

@@seanembry6438 Yeah people go off on these rumors because they emotionally dislike the person. Yes they're both terrible people but I don't find the rumor to hold much water.

@Iseerightthruyou as somebody who is very academically inclined but had to get their GED for medical reasons... she's the associated reason why I have a hesitant shame about saying I have a GED. Lmao. Dumber than a box of rocks, at least a box of rocks doesn't yell disrespectful rhetoric after a national tragedy.
