Okay so I'm super happy that people have jobs to be able to put food on the table.... But are these good paying jobs? Cynical me says "some but not enough".... What do you guys think?

@ak5659 Good point, I think this is part of the reason why so many people want the ability to work from home.... Also you can throw in a load of laundry between meetings and double your productivity (but your boss doesn't make money from that doubling in productivity so they don't like that, lol)

@elizabethpedano9564 I'm not sure if those are just federal jobs, but I know teaching is a government job and that doesn't pay very well.

@bettyworkman9460 What do you think about the idea of a universal basic income that's funded by taxing a percentage of corporate stock that goes to a public wealth fund? So when shareholders get richer people who receive universal basic income get richer too. Obviously if raising the minimum wage is already so difficult I know the proposed idea can seem impossible but we should try to find solutions that are outside of the box or else will always be asking for a raise to the minimum wage.
