You mean like people actually get to say in the representation of the organization that they work in..... Democracy is scary /s

@nicholasweber21 The 40hr workweek. Higher pay. Better work conditions. Workers compensation. You really are ignorant and ungrateful- you probably would want to work 12hrs a day for low pay, in dangerous conditions and be unable to support your family when you get injured.... Yeah, unions have done nothing /s

@tomcat8662 I hope you realize you get paid for overtime now.... but apparently you don't like that and you'd rather work 72 hours a week for low pay in dangerous work conditions with no workers compensation. Sometimes I really wonder how slow in the head you Fox viewers are.... And that's why I come here; Thanks for informing me.

@tomcat8662 How much capitalist dong do you have to suck to dislike overtime pay?

Congratulations. Hard working Americans deserve to a retirement.

So, Donald Trump, right?

Ever heard of UBI? Tax the oligarchy.

Lol. They hate the poor more than technology.

Over the past century and a half Unions have helped fight for the 8-hour workday (40hr week), better pay, better work conditions, and it was even the socialist mayor of Milwaukee that first started workers compensation. They fought for these labor rights and face of capitalist violence like the Ludlow massacre and the Homestead massacre, just to name two of many. Capitalism is violent.

@jim8937 The gig economy... You mean where people still struggle to make a living? Smfh... You're delusional. P.S. I got another raise yesterday ;) I'm okay, bud, still not what I could get with collective bargaining though.

@jim8937 Is this what you think of people that work for small businesses? Jfc. You are pro-oligarchy. You deserve how corrupt the US is.

@renaissancestatesman Nice, Fallacy fallacy.

Depends where, not most places.

Yeah let's just pretend they didn't fight for an 8-hour work day, better pay, better working conditions, and workers' compensation.... It's almost like they haven't done anything the past 40 years because they've been disempowered by Reaganomic oligarchic that only want the government to step in when it benefits their bottom line.

@renaissancestatesman It's called a Democratic Republic, dingus. You get your individual rights protected from the majority, yet large amounts of legitimacy stem from democratic will. 🤦♂️
