But then it's also the parents responsibility to always be around (and not negligent) when a minor is firing the parents weapon, as well as keep it safely stored when not in use This means all of the legal burden is on the adult who is old enough to handle legal responsibilities. Seeing as you guys don't want any gun laws, why would it be out of the question for a kid to steal their parents credit card and just order one over the internet straight to their house.... We have 5-year-olds that spend 5K on their parents iphone playing apps.

  28.  @mastershep11n74  Dude, I fully understand how responsible gun culture WAS. I'm an advocate of responsible gun culture that teaches gun safety at a young age. I am not opposed to kids operating or being in possession of a weapon owned by their parents, especially since on occasion kids unfortunately have to be the ones in position for self-defense. But owning and transferring weapons to the full ownership by minors shouldn't be seen as without risk. That's what most of the people above are talking about, allowing kids that can't even vote or drive to have automatic weapons. Some of them even want kids to be able to operate tanks and fire RPGs... Those aren't my words, those are theirs. I'm not coming from a place of ignorance, I'm playing devil's advocate- I know that automatic weapons cost thousands of dollars, 🤦 The whole point was that I wanted to see how ridiculous people would get in terms of the amount of lethal weaponry they'd give a child, and apparently they maxed out about a tank or an RPG. So not quite the nuclear button... But yeah, people in this comment section are crazy enough as to advocate open carry of RPGs by 13-year-olds.
