Exactly, they are the key perpetuators of a system that simply seeks to make money off of resources that people need to live... If they price people out of living, "oh well, not our problem". These are the people that cause houses to inflate faster than inflation, and have large influence to suppress wages so they barely keep pace with inflation.

I don't know why you feel the need to call it 'cronyist', of course there's going to be profitable crony relationships in a system that emphasizes profit above all else. You're trying to create a false dichotomy of "ethical capitalism" and "corrupt capitalism"- all capitalism is amoral because capitalism doesn't care about morals; it incentivizes profit not decreasing corruption. Got to love how you chastise the billionaires that corrupt your government and at the same time chastise Bernie Sanders who is literally one of the most uncorruptible politicians in US politics today🤦🏼 He has an incredibly low net worth for being in politics for as long as he has, and in that time, he's barely changed his underlying values. "Barney" Sanders wants us to clean up this corruption but you just want to do your share and wipe your ass across the carpet 🤡🤡
