That's not idiotic... That sounds perfectly rational for a company that's driven by profit motives to expand into a monopoly. The scorpion is going to sting the frog; it's in its nature.

Why just limit it to taxes? Why pay rent to a landlord that doesn't care about keeping your apartment up in order? Why help make a profit for a boss that doesn't care about how your work life is? Why pay a mortgage to a bank that's going to credit default swap CDOs and literally bet that you won't pay their loan back, and inevitably crash the economy through their heavily rigged banking system? If you just say taxes you fall into the state vs capitalism illusion.... They work together, so they can both not care about you.

You don't see the example of rising house prices as a legitimate pressure on average Americans? Housing inflation on the national scale has been outpacing wages for a while, accumulating discrepancy between pay and cost of living has definitely become detrimental.

@jeffreybaker4399 You realize that their investment banks like BlackRock buying up single family homes at an astonishing rate. They often just bid above market because it's easier for them to pay a bit more than to haggle the price down. This is a national issue, just sayin.

Trump, on 12/3/22, said he wanted the "... termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.", because he is still crying about 2020 even though over 60 judges (some of whom he appointed) said there was no fraud that would have changed the electoral outcome. He is fascist- a strongman, populist palingenetic ultranationalist who uses violent/ anti-liberal rhetoric (literally what MAGA embraces) is exactly what Mussolini and Gentile wrote about in the Doctrine of Fascism.
