Oh don't even get me started, they make it so you can't buy cannabis in Colorado in a see-through container... Because they don't want the kids to be exposed to it. Yet there can be walls of liquor where you can see the color just fine. If you take a kid into a liquor store You just have to keep a good eye on them and make sure they don't tip over a display... You try to take your kid into a medical dispensary, you'll get CPS called on you. Regulate it like alcohol, my ass. MED is a bunch of morons- it took them 6 years to start testing for heavy metals.

While they let pedophiles go free and reoffend.

Same. Scoliosis and depression. Cannabis has been a life saver. Medical. Recreational. Spiritual.

@SamiAlSharabi I choose "strains" or cultivars that produce uplifting effects. I have a moderately high tolerance and so I have an easier time of regulating between medical and inebriating dosages. I like to stay educated and so I enjoy to learning even when I'm high. At a certain point you just get used to working and functioning with THC.

But notice how public opinion doesn't change public policy... That's because public policy is really changed by monied elites. We live in a plutocracy. You can find the data that backs up what common knowledge tells us, copy paste to google; "Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page"

@SamiAlSharabi If you're asking either of us, I personally use use throughout the day. It's 5:40am, I just put my bagel in the toaster then took a hash oil dab to calm some back pain and a headache. For myself I find THC works a lot better for mitigating chronic pain than CBD, so yes I am high regularly.

Dabbin' daily

I'm sorry, that's unfair. I'm guessing they don't fire all their alcohol consuming employees?
3
He started the drug war in order to lash out by proxy against the anti-war movement and the civil rights movement.... Damn pot smoking free thinkers.
3
While they allow corporations to sell synthetic THC for hundreds of dollars a prescription.... It's a sham.
3
But capitalism needs more profit.... And then they'll legalize it because capitalism needs more profit..... They obviously don't care about people, they just care about the money.
2
It was made illegal for profit of corporations that saw cannabis hemp and cannabinoids as dangerous to their business models and product sales, now it's becoming legalized because elites see they can make money from it. John Boehner goes from being a politician and against cannabis to going into private equities in the cannabis industry. When over 70% of Americans want legalization but congress won't listen untill campaign money move their stance. This is why cannabis lobbyists are important for our industry, but they are not saints. They seek to exploit the corrupt ways are government functions and change policy for the legalization of a helpful plant, but let's be honest sometimes they bend the truth or put blinders on what data is shown and what data is left out. At the end of the day, we live in a plutocracy where public policy is only changed by the opinions of the elite who have money to campaign scales not the public opinion of constituents. Use opensecrets.org to find out who's corrupt and who's corrupting them. Smoke Hash Everyday.
2
Yup, look up this paper, it shows how public policy is made by monied elites and not public opinion. Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page
2
@thrivinganarchy5267 Representatives don't represent their constituents, they represent their donors. There are a lot of politicians that know cannabis isn't that big of a deal because they themselves have smoked it, but won't change their stance since drug companies donate to their funds.
2
Both are important, even with the hemp act I wouldn't have a job without the Cole memo.
2
By that definition opium has no negative properties either.... Don't be a typical stoner and appeal to nature. You're the reason people get annoyed with potheads.
2
And when it gets past Democrats will have some token minority projects but most their energy will be dedicated to corporate cannabis industry, people that will donate to their campaign funds. Cannabis is just being engulfed into the corrupt corporate-congressional machine.
2
People used to smoking can drive fine high, I literally took my driver's test stoned as a teenager and passed. Since they thought I drove well enough to issue me a driver's license, I don't see the issue.
1
@ivanrojasmorales420 I think you mean it's scienciftic latin name, Jazz Cabbage.
1
@brute6896 Here is why Carl Sagan like cannabis, I happen to agree with many of his points relating to the expansion of consciousness. https://www.organism.earth/library/document/mr-x What's your drug of choice?
1
But it should be legal.... That's the thing.
1
I mean other than the recreational dopamine? It's medically usefully and and can be used spiritually.
1
Really?
1
Yeah, Mike Tyson and Carl Sagan sure had mush for brains.... What losers amiright?
1
He literally said America is too corrupt for cannabis legalization.... Maybe we should focus on legalizing cannabis and ending the corporate domination.
1
@milt0n290 I know that I was saying they should also stop letting corporations bribe Congress members.... And then there wouldn't be so many ill effects of legalization dominated by a few corporate players.
1
@milt0n290 Corporations will always try to invade government to increase their profits.
1
@milt0n290 That's not what I said, but okay, be childish.
1
@milt0n290 Big business is bad for society. Unless you think a few mega wealth investors should control society... That's called plutocracy.
1
Oh pharmaceutical companies made it so THC could be scheduled 3... if it was synthetic.
1
You're joking, right? I work at a cannabis business and we're all very productive stoners. My boss is a serial entrepreneur who's smoke regularly and has gotten high with us on multiple occasions. Let me guess you think Carl Sagan and Mike Tyson were both lazy because they smoked cannabis. Hold this L.
1
Hate freedom much?
1
@thrivinganarchy5267 There are others that have corroborated the study but this is the first and most famous.... You could look those up but it's obvious you're not interested in scientific papers no matter how many there are. Not to mention the paper kind of just verifies what is obvious, politicians don't have the best interests of their constituents at heart as seen during these economic downturns where corporations (who spent all their money on stock buy backs) get more relief than the citizens. Wake up, bud.
1
@thrivinganarchy5267 I literally referenced a scientific paper.... But all you have is a "nawhuh" claptrap. Lame.
1
Why?
1
Plutocracy...
1
I mean technically THC is considered schedule one If it's more than 0.3% concentration on the cannabis plant, but synthetic THC is actually scheduled 3.... Never mind the fact that it's less safe than cannabis and has more side effects, it has the desired effect of increasing pharmaceutical corporations profits.
1
@wymans668 That's not the point, antitrust is only geared at anti-competitive action. The fact that there is a concentration of players to a few or just one is not enough to break up players. In most major industries there are just a few key players, this is corporate oligarchy. Not to mention they buy out politicians with campaign funds and dinners.
1
Smoke DMT on your weed. Tax it.
1
Lmfao, if you think antitrust limits corporate domination you've been asleep for the last 20 years.
1
You mean stopping criminalization of cannabis is decreased the number of criminals arrested due to cannabis? Woah...
1
Central Intelligence Agency You know pharmaceutical companies already sell THC under the name Marinol?
1
Smokin that Kool-Aid, huh?
1
Socialist?? Bahahaha, surrrrrrrrre.
1
Terps > CBD Terps rule everything around me.
1
So much for Southerns not wanting the government to tell them want to do...
