  1. The most important thing is certifications. Any certified Dexos 1 gen 3 or DexosD oil overperform any standard ILSAC 6A and 6B oil. Thicker oil has better thicker film and works well on high rpm sports car but not on low tension rings economy cars, especielly Toyota and Honda. Their engines uses 0W-20 or less since 2010 and has much less failure rate than any other manufacturers.
