  1. I did the evaporator on my 2006 and the evaporator replacement was OK but I pinch one of the gray wire and the car never went to Ready until that wire was rewired. What a mess to work with the2 evaporator in 2nd gen Prius. It is very common to have evaporator leaks in Prius gen 2 after around 200k miles in hot climates. Mechanics charge for 10-14 hours labor for this job.
