0w20 has 10k miles interval and they are much higher quality. It holds the property more than 15k miles easily, proven by many BITOG with used oil analysis. Thhe wear in most Toyota is really low,not like small turbo eurpean cars. But only if we do not drive very short trip <6 miles and not in very cold weather.

@useryggfdcc Yes, but if it is driven with very short trip/less than 5 miles in winter, never go to highway, then 5k miles is a good way. 100 miles city is worse than 1000 miles highway.

First oil change is tricky, sometimes it is a special oil for break in. But it is indeed true for transmission fluid, 30k miles is a good first change, and followed by regular 100k miles interval in toyota WS

I dissagree with highway trips. That's actually the best way for breaking in at about 70mph for 8 hours. It is a constant low rpm about 2k rpm or less, low load, and smooth drive. City drive is the worst and fast acceleration. 10000 miles highway is better than 1000 city drive
