Hybrid makes more sense and greener in every respect than EV. 1 Tesla model 3 can make more than 50 Camry Hybrid, and carmakers as big as Toyota or VW go greener by putting more hybrid in millions of cars than just a few thousands EV. After 15 years or more, these battery need replacement, and Toyota hybrid battery only cost about $3k total meanwhile any EV is basically becoming scrap metals because battery replacement is close to $40k or more.

  10. I drove both, Corolla has slightly less roll than hybrid 2013 Auris in curvy roads but overall very close. Cheaper version non-hybrid Auris or Turbo without independence rear suspension is indeed quite different. But it is not really worth to upgrade if you already have Hybrid 2013 Auris. It is about the same and older Auris is proven to be reliable. We will see 3-4 years from now if new Corolla with newer CVT transmission also even more reliable.

  11. I think the designers smoked cocks. The Fuckgliest design of Prius ever, even worse than 1st generation. Corolla hybrid with 2.0L engine is way more powerful, better safety rating (safety sense 2), bigger, and dual injectors with 180HP compared to 122 HP in prius with 1.8L trusty engine. This 1.8L engine is originally from 1994 Corolla in USA.

It is true, most luxury German car are design like woman clothes, out dated fast and dumped after less than 5 years. 30 years ago Benz and BMW was as reliable as most consumer car but not in the past 20 years. Too many sensors, and untested technology that trigger Check egnine light every menstrual cycle. German cars are well built and nice when it is new, better than any Asian or American car but only when they are new, not after 6 years when things get really ugly and expensive to fix.

  18.  @user-xg6zz8qs3q  You should compare the same year and class. I can say the cheapest one is the Corolla 90s, they are deadly reliable even with 4-speed automatic transmission. No European car has a reliable automatic transmission. For 40 years, just ATF fluid change, no clutch that worn out. Besides that, 207 does not have 3L/100 Km in city. Back to the full calculations: Price new- resale + fuel +maintenance+repair, Hybrid is stil way ahead.

  19.  @user-xg6zz8qs3q  Thanks, yes I still survive from that lemon Altima. Nissan degrades so badly after the merger with Renault and Cut cost strategy in everything including their reliability. For Automatic transmission Cars, only Toyota/Lexus and Mazda or may be HOnda in EU have a good reputation. Hyundai and KIA used dreaded dual-clutch transmission, just like VW and Ford. Nissan CVT had been a nightmare. I chose hybrid because we have 15 years battery warranty in UK/Ireland and 10 years in mainland EU. I do oil change myself and the warranty is still valid according to Toyota dealership as long as I visit them once a year for €35 for Hybrid system check once the car past 100k Km or 5 years. Before that, all are covered including hybrid powertrain, not just battery. Working with Japanese cars are so easy, everything is simple and I only need 8,10,12,13,14,17,22 mm wrench, philips, and allen keys. Nothing fancy for shocks, brakes, oil, ATF, EGR, sparkplugs, etc. But in the first 10 years, we only need oil change and probably brake fluid. It is much cheaper to own a Hybrid than modern diesel with nonstop emission problems. DPF filters is easily as costly as hybrid battery replacement, about €2k

  20. This is another Good Classic FORD Hybrid that are made by Toyota powertrain with HSD system. Probably 90% hybrid components and battery are still made by Toyota/Aisin/Panasonic. A good deal especially for used market. Ford has long history of HSD hybrid since Ford Escape, Fusion, and some others that now are used by Police in USA.

Those vents are purposefully designed for enthusiast who want to upgrade to stronger brake, engine oil and transmission cooler adds-on, and potentially to make 1000 HP which will need way more cooling without tearing, drilling the body apart. If you check inside, they are all meant to be opened once you increase performance as a true Track-car. Including the mount for much bigger radiator under the hood.

  35. This is the only BMW with Full 10 years manufacturer warranty. Just because it gets Toyota badge on it. Toyota in January 2021 rollout or extend the warranty from 5 to 10 years in UK and from 3 becomes 10 years in the rest of Europe. There is no much risk for Toyota giving 10 years warranty anyway. So, why not.
